Welcome to Author’s Easel. By accessing our website, submitting content, completing forms, or participating in any Author’s Easel programs, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Overview of Services

Author’s Easel provides educational content, publishing opportunities, entrepreneur spotlights, workshops, digital resources, and related programs designed to support youth entrepreneurship and creative development.

2. Eligibility

Participation in Author’s Easel programs is open to individuals of all ages; however, participants under the age of 18 must have verified parental or legal guardian consent to submit information, appear in publications, or participate in featured content.

3. User Submissions

By submitting content (including but not limited to written stories, images, videos, or questionnaire responses), you grant Author’s Easel permission to:

• Review, edit, and format submitted content for clarity and publication

• Feature content on the Author’s Easel website, social media, print materials, and promotional platforms

• Use submitted content for educational and marketing purposes

Author’s Easel does not claim ownership of original ideas submitted but reserves the right to publish approved material as part of its programming.

4. Content Accuracy

Participants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate and does not infringe on the rights of any third party. Author’s Easel is not liable for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations provided by users.

5. Intellectual Property

All Author’s Easel branding, materials, templates, and educational content are protected intellectual property. Unauthorized reproduction, resale, or distribution is prohibited without written permission.

6. Privacy Policy

Author’s Easel respects user privacy. Personal information collected through forms or submissions will only be used for program participation, communication, and publication purposes unless otherwise stated.

We do not sell personal data.

7. Consent for Minor Entrepreneurs

If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete or approve all submissions.

By completing the Spotlight Questionnaire, the parent or legal guardian expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

• They are the legal guardian of the minor submitting the information

• They consent to the minor’s participation in Author’s Easel programs

• They authorize Author’s Easel to publish the minor’s story, responses, likeness (if provided), and submitted content

• They understand that the minor’s story may be featured on the Author’s Easel website, social media platforms, and in print publications, including books, workbooks, magazines, or promotional materials

• They waive any claims related to the use of the submitted content for publication purposes, provided it is used in accordance with this agreement

This consent remains valid unless formally withdrawn in writing prior to publication. Once published, removal may not be guaranteed for printed materials already distributed.

8. Prohibited Content

Users may not submit content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, or abusive

• Infringing on intellectual property rights

• False, misleading, or deceptive

• Explicit or inappropriate for minors

Author’s Easel reserves the right to remove or refuse any submission at its discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

Author’s Easel is not responsible for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from participation in its programs or use of its materials.

10. Changes to Terms

Author’s Easel reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
